A Question: Courage or Bravery?

Again, one of those questions that pops into my awareness and I chew around for a while.  So - what is the difference ?     The closest I've come to is that courage is internal - a quality that we have or are - and that bravery is the outward manifestation of the state of courage.    I'd welcome any other ideas!
