Comparisons are Odious

When we compare our life, our skills and abilities, our experiences to another person's (whether we do so consciously or not), we are forgetting one fundamental fact:  their life's journey is theirs, and it is unique, singular and unrepeatable.  And our life journey is uniquely ours—it is not better than, it is not worse than. It is simply ours.  It is our unique contribution to the fabric of the Universe (as is theirs)…to be celebrated in its contribution and its uniqueness. 

So, please stand tall and celebrate the glory of the uniqueness that is you.  You will love yourself for it!
