Course Corrections

Did you know that, when the first rocket was heading on its way from Earth to the Moon, it was on course for only 7% of its journey? — the rest of the time it was making course corrections. As an analogy, this may be so last-century, but it holds true for how we live our lives.
All the choices we make, we make on the very best information we have available to us at the time….it's only later, when we become aware of the consequences of our choice, that we are in a position to re-decide (make a course correction). We are constantly re-deciding and correcting our course; if we weren't, we'd be stuck repeating the same old patterns.…and replaying the same old dramas.…and telling the same old story. Boring—for us and everyone around us!
Remember there is no such thing as a bad choice (labelling something good or bad is only judgement - whether ours or someone else's). To help ourselves move forward means that we must learn the lessons we set up for ourselves when we made the choice, and this requires some courage and willingness to face our truth.
Whether you're on course or correcting, you are always heading in the direction of your soul's choice…now, isn't that good to know?
