Oh the Divine Joy of Music

As I write this, I'm listening to a recording of a Beethoven symphony.  Parts of the music are fairly familiar as I've heard it before—this time though I find myself wondering what it must feel like to have such beauty well up inside you, and what it must have felt like for Beethoven as his hearing was starting to fade.

And I find myself listening with not just my ears, but with my heart and my body—and I am filled with Joy and Gratitude.  A truly magical experience of connection.  Thank you Ludwig for your journey, your Service and the gifts you have given us.
