This is Life

...Jim - and it IS as you know it! (Salutations and apologies to all Trekkies everywhere....)

We all know that we choose in life what works for us - on the human level, we choose what will keep us safe and help us avoid feeling vulnerable or uncomfortable. At the soul level, we choose what will give us our learning opportunities, so that we can 'get' the teaching and move on....

Please know that choosing is neither good nor bad, that there is no such thing as a 'good choice' or a 'bad choice' - choice is simply following an inclination to action and - most importantly - taking responsibility for the outcome. (By the way, not choosing is a choice in itself...think about it!) If the outcome is not what we anticipated (beware of the Law of Unintended Consequences), then we have the opportunity and the freedom to choose differently.

And so do we choose our lives: we choose what happens and what doesn't, we choose who are in our lives, we choose all our interactions, our reactions and our responses. To use another mis-quote: We are the architect of our destiny.

Following this to its logical conclusion : you are already living the live you chose!

And, if there are aspects of your life which are unrewarding, the quickest way to change them is to become aware of why you chose them, to flood forgiveness to the choice itself, to yourself and to anyone who may have been instrumental in the choice, and follow that with a flood of Love. (When your level of intention is high and clear, then this is the work of moments.)

You have now freed yourself to choose a different design for your life. In other words, you have freed and empowered yourself to live the life you choose. Neat, huh!
